Dr. Alexina Mehta
Pneuma Courses, Pneuma Breathwork, and Pneuma Therapy Facilitator
I began my journey with the Pneuma Institute in 2009, which coincided with the start of my career as a Naturopathic Physician. The teachings from the institute have profoundly enhanced my understanding of health and healing, extending beyond the physical body. Pneuma teachings helped me understand how to heal beyond the symptoms within myself and also with my patients. With 15 years of practice, I am delighted to serve as a facilitator for the Pneuma Institute, guiding students through this transformative body of work. In addition to holding a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine, I am an Ayurveda practitioner and women's health expert. I earned a Bachelor of Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia and worked as a fitness expert for many years. Over the past 20 years, I have delivered more than 2,000 talks to over 150 organizations, including the United Nations and TEDx. I am passionate about guiding individuals and groups toward happiness and well-being. My work integrates ancient healing traditions with modern scientific knowledge to support each person's unique journey. Pneuma teachings are a core part of my practice. Beyond my professional life, I enjoy traveling to sacred places around the world, hiking mountains, and practicing the sitar and Bharatnatyam dance.
